The health and safety of our employees, contractors, customers and the communities in which we operate is of paramount importance to Diversified Drilling & Industrial Equipment F.Z.E. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment across all our facilities in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Erbil, and to continually improving our safety performance.

- Safety Policy Statement

DDIE shall conduct all its operations in a manner that protects the health, safety and welfare of its employees, contractors and visitors. We are committed to complying with all applicable health and safety legislation and regulations, meeting the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and IADC standards, eliminating hazards and reducing occupational health and safety risks, and continually improving our safety management system through regular review, audit and employee engagement.

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment

We systematically identify hazards and assess risks associated with all our activities — from equipment handling and warehouse operations to field service delivery — and implement appropriate controls to eliminate or minimise those risks.

Safe Working Conditions

All DDIE facilities are maintained to the highest standards of housekeeping and safety. We provide appropriate personal protective equipment, safe tools and equipment, and clearly documented safe working procedures for all operational tasks.

Safety Training & Competence

All employees and contractors receive safety induction training before commencing work and ongoing role-specific safety training throughout their employment. Competence is verified and records maintained for all safety-critical activities.

Incident Reporting & Investigation

We maintain a no-blame incident reporting culture. All accidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions are reported, investigated and reviewed to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Lessons learned are shared across the organisation.

Emergency Preparedness

Documented emergency response plans are maintained for all DDIE facilities. Emergency drills are conducted regularly to ensure all personnel are familiar with evacuation procedures, first-aid arrangements and emergency contact protocols.

Contractor & Visitor Safety

We extend our safety standards to all contractors and visitors on DDIE premises. Contractors are pre-qualified on safety grounds, briefed on site safety rules before entry, and monitored throughout their engagement.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

DDIE complies with all applicable health and safety legislation in the UAE, Iraq and all other jurisdictions in which we operate, including JAFZA regulations, UAE Federal Law requirements and IADC guidelines.

Continual Improvement

Safety performance is monitored through leading and lagging indicators, internal audits and management reviews. Objectives and targets are set annually and progress is reviewed at each Management Review meeting to drive measurable improvement.

OHSAS 18001 Certification

DDIE's Occupational Health and Safety Management System is certified to OHSAS 18001 by an accredited third-party certification body. The system is subject to regular internal audits and annual external surveillance audits to maintain certification and drive continuous improvement.

- Management Responsibility

The DDIE Board and Senior Management Team are personally accountable for the implementation of this Safety Policy and for providing the resources necessary to maintain a safe working environment. Line managers are responsible for safety within their areas of control. Every employee has a duty to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others, to follow safe working procedures, and to report any hazards, incidents or unsafe conditions without delay.
